Where you’ll be

The Münzmühle or Geissersmühle was the mint of Innerrhoden from 1737-1745. Since then, the property has been known as the Münzmühle. On 31.10.1896, the property passed to the Geisser family. The coin mill was used to process flour, driven by water power. The flour mill has not been active since 1967 and is now being resurrected from its slumber. The mill is now intended to give future generations an insight into earlier times, which is why the miller's family home is now being offered as a vacation home. On the first floor there is a large eat-in kitchen and two parlors, which still contain many elements from the past with a tiled stove. The 7 bedrooms are located on the two upper floors. There are also two bathrooms. Everything was gently renovated in 1982 and is now offered as a new vacation home. The idyllic surroundings with the Kaubach, the small waterfall, the historic bridge to the coin mill, then the three-part building complex, the residential house is located in the middle area. The Sleeping Beauty has woken up and is looking forward to welcoming many vacation guests from near and far.
